How my approach to therapy can help
If you want to experience more ease with emotions, more self-acceptance, and stronger connection with others, I’d love to help you get there!
Therapy gives you both self-acceptance, and the ability to change.
I work with clients on how to:
-
Expand the mental space that allows them to respond intentionally rather than reacting impulsively.
-
Be more in control of intense emotions.
-
Handle crisis without making things worse.
-
Manage conflict and relationship difficulties in a way that draws people closer, rather than driving them away.

When we know how to actually do these things, we have resilience.

ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Becca. I’m a mom and school counselor turned therapist. I have walked alongside young adults for over 15 years — first in the public school system as a college advisor and school counselor, and now as a therapist. Adolescence and young adulthood is pictured to be carefree and fun, but really is often experienced as one the most confusing and lonely seasons of life. But it doesn’t have to stay that way.
Each client I’ve worked with is a developing person who is eager to be seen, valued, and believed in, and I know that with the right skills and support, they can be the solution to their problems. I consider our conversations to be a sacred space, as I have also experienced how transformative it can be to open up and let a little light and fresh air into the dark corners of ourselves that we aren’t sure we can enter alone. There is hope in that space, and I hope to meet you there.
